I am a 61 year old athlete and I suffered with sever stenosis and spinal nerve impingement for the last 8-10 years. Being am an avid outdoor enthusiast who LOVES skiing, hiking and Mt Biking, then having to stop all of these sports because of the severe pain in both legs and constant cramps in my hamstrings and calf's. I was devastated and mentally depressed. I literally could not walk over 100 yards without having to stop...the daily pain became unbearable. Huge doses of pain meds was not an option for me.
The L3-L4-L5-S1 laminectomy preformed by this skillful surgeon gave me back my life, literally. The same day of surgery, I instantly felt the pain relief and the complete elimination of all my leg muscle cramps.
Since my surgery (16 days ago) I have walked pain free for over 40 miles, started my P.T. and now enjoy light gym workouts. I expect a FULL recovery in the next 3-4 week and an awesome much more active life again. The professionalism of his staff and follow-up was impeccable.
I strongly recommend Dr. Sekhon to anyone in need of a Neurosurgeon, my only regret was waiting too long to make my decision to have surgery....Tahoe Joe

I have been a patient of Dr. Sekhon for almost one year and have been very impressed with the level of care received. I have had two lumbar surgeries and both the doctor and his staff have been very supportive and efficient. Greg and Jenna are great assets to his team and make office visits much more tolerable!

I was referred to Dr. Sekhon by the orthopedic Dr. our family has been seeing when he determined that the problem wasn't something to do with a previous procedure. I knew from the first visit with Dr. Sekhon that the only thing on his agenda was to cure my ailments with the least yet most effective and non-invasive procedures. It has worked out wonderful and I couldn't be happier. I hope anyone with a nerve type of problem will at least talk to Dr. Sekhon before going elsewhere. I think you will also be impressed.

Dr. Sekhon saw me after I broke my neck Snowboarding in Mammoth, CA. They air lifted me to Reno to have surgery done by Dr. Sekhon. My first surgery was 8 hours after my injury. I ruptured my c5 and split my c6 in half. They had to go in and pull some pieces of bone out of my spinal cord.
I am a 24 year old, very active male. I surf, snowboard, and workout daily. Dr. Sekhon promised me I would be able to do all three again when I was done with my surgery. It has been two months since my surgery and I am thankful for this man everyday of my life. He is most likely the reason I am walking today.
Being in the hospital the first night alone was one of the scariest , loneliest, nights of my life. Everyone in the ICU was AMAZING and made sure I had everything I needed. Dr. Sekhon, and the whole staff at the hospital in Reno, thank you for everything!

Dr. Lali Sekhon has been a true blessing in my life. 7 years ago I had a bad snowboarding accident in Mammoth, CA and I was diagnosed with a severe L2 burst fracture with spinal cord compression. I needed emergency surgery and was lucky enough to have Dr. Sekhon perform the procedure. From the moment we met them, Dr. Sekhon and his team communicated compassionately and thoroughly to my family and I about what was happening, and always made sure we understood what my plan of care was.
I barely have a scar from the surgery, and am confident that it is because of his care and expertise that I'm walking today. Dr. Sekhon did an amazing job from start to finish, and today I am walking, doing yoga, surfing, started a business, and am enjoying life like I was before my accident.
Dr. Sekhon has followed up with me consistently since the accident. Even though I'm living across the country now, I can contact him as needed with questions and direction for care. He is prompt with providing me answers to many the many questions I had after my procedure, and has been there for me all the way.
I highly recommend Dr. Sekhon to anyone looking for exceptional care, cutting edge medical treatment, and a positive and bright ending to what might have at first looked like a life changing tragedy.

Dr. Sekhon was the only Doctor to pin point where my lower back pain was coming from. Thankfully I didn't need surgery but if did I would trust him any time with this procedure..

From what I read from the other testimonials he is the best..

I found dr. Sekhon to be extremely conservative, competent and caring. He was efficient and wanted a successful outcome. He got me out of the hospital in record time.

Dr. Sekhon was very complete in his evaluation and recommendations for my treatment. I have complete confidence in what he has me doing to improve my back pain and should the need ever arise that I need surgery, I will definitely go to him. I was also especially impressed with his staff. They were kind, caring, and very professional. I would definitely recommend him and his office.

On my first visit with Dr. Sekhon he explained my problem with visual clarity using my MRI. There was no problem with accepting his recommendation of performing surgery on L5, L4, L3 and removing the Lamina section of the vertebra that was pinching nerves in my right leg. When I entered his office for my first visit I was using a walker, and when I recovered from surgery I was walking straight up without the aid of the walker and absolutely no pain. It has been several months now and every thing is great. Dr. Sekhon has my whole hearted recommendation from me and my family.
